An African Safari Debut

Perfectly situated between the Kruger National Park and Blyde River Canyon, the property is surrounded by wildlife and adventures ranging from game drives to horse treks and even hot air balloon rides.

“We are thrilled to open the doors of our first safari-inspired hotel in South Africa. The opening of Radisson Safari Hotel Hoedspruit marks our 11th hotel opening in South Africa and completes our own Golden Triangle Safari offering with exquisite properties in Cape Town and the recently opened Radisson Blu Resort Mosi-oa-Tunya in Livingstone,” Radisson COO Middle East, Africa and SEAP Tim Cordon said.

Lamborghini’s Leap

Luxury car lovers lapped up Lamborghinis in greater numbers than ever before in 2023 as the car manufacturer celebrated its 60th anniversary.

Showing no sign of slowing down, Lamborghini delivered 10,112 cars over the course of the year – representing a 10 percent increase on 2022 figures and the first time the company has broken the 10,000 mark.

The greatest increase was seen in the regions of Europe, Middle East and Africa, which grew by 14 percent compared to the previous year, followed by nine percent in the Americas and four percent in Asia.

While the United States was the top market with 3,000 cars delivered, double-digit spikes were seen in Asia–Pacific with Oceania reporting a rise of 37 percent, Japan coming in at 21 percent and India at 12 percent.

“This outstanding achievement is a clear sign of the growing perception of our brand worldwide and confirms that the strategy we’ve adopted is succeeding,” Chief Marketing and Sales Officer Federico Foschini said.

“It’s a success made possible also thanks to the invaluable contribution of our network of 184 dealerships operating in 54 different markets. Our aim for 2024 is to continue our growth trend in the three macro-regions.”
