A Partnership Model for Success

DCP and WPI’s successful partnership has helped to transform the oil and gas industry and to improve the health and safety of their staff and communities.

WPI has been a key provider of products and services to the US and international oil and gas industry since 1924. Our success must be credited to our employees and their ability to build strong business partnerships with our customers.

DCP serves as an example of one of those partnerships that began in 2005, when DCP organized what was a natural extension of WPI’s longstanding business connection with the parent companies of Duke Energy and ConocoPhillips.

The DCP–WPI relationship reaches far beyond day-to-day business, as we have also partnered over the years to support charities such as the American Heart Association, which provide much-needed services and programs to support health and safety.

DCP and WPI have also been leaders in developing new and innovative safety processes that ensure our employees have one of the safest and most efficient workplaces in the industry.

As two of the largest service providers in the US, it is safe to say that WPI and DCP have played an integral part in the success of our industry and, with the continued growth of our partnership, the best is yet to come.

DCP has proven it can weather the storms, from industry downturns to COVID-19, and it is exciting for WPI to a part of the growth and innovations that DCP’s Wouter van Kempen has described.

In 2024, WPI will achieve 100 years of service and mark the beginning of a new era in product support for our customers through our Global Solutions Initiative. This growth program will increase our capabilities in North America and across the globe.

Over the past 18 months, we have expanded our operations in Canada with four full-service facilities, as well as established sales offices in Europe with plans for continued growth through our Qualified Service Provider program.

The DCP–WPI business relationship is a model for success and one that will certainly be emulated as we move into our next century of service.

Thanks to DCP for allowing WPI to partner with you in business and in support of the Wounded Warrior Project. We will be eternally grateful to all the men and women who sacrificed their wellbeing and lives for us. May God bless each and everyone.
